Long-term work of LED display will cause light aging, especially for high-power LED screen, the problem of light aging is more serious. When measuring the lifetime of LED panel wall, it is not enough to use the lamp damage as the end point of the lifetime of LED display. It is more meaningful to use the percentage of light attenuation of LED wall to determine the lifetime of LED, such as 5% or 10%.
Light decay: When charging the surface of the photosensitive drum, with the accumulation of charge on the surface of the photosensitive drum, the potential increases continuously, and finally reaches the “saturation” potential, which is the highest potential. Surface potential decreases with time. Generally, the potential at work is lower than this potential. The process of the potential naturally decreases with time is called “dark decay” process. When the photoreceptor drum is exposed by scanning, the potential in the dark area (referring to the surface of the photoconductor which is not illuminated by light) is still in the dark decay process; the carrier density in the light area (referring to the surface of the photoconductor which is illuminated by light) increases rapidly, the conductivity rises rapidly, forming the photoconductive voltage, the charge disappears rapidly, and the surface potential of the photoconductor also decreases rapidly. It’s called “light decay” and finally slows down.
